How to unlock the “2 Qantas Club lounge invitations” with the “The Qantas American Express Ultimate Card”

Recently one of my cards I have subscribed to is the “The Qantas American Express Ultimate Cardhealthy”

Not only does this have a healthly 65,000 Qantas Points via the referral link above for $3000 Minimum Spend but it also comes with

$450 Travel Credit on Qantas Flights ( Booked with American Express ) 

2 American Express Airport Lounge entries each calendar year ( So this is really 4 during the card year! ) 

2 Qantas Club lounge invitations each year , however, Terms as follows: after purchasing on selected Qantas products and services using your Qantas American Express Ultimate Card. Selected Qantas products and services are Qantas passenger flights with a QF flight number purchased directly from Qantas.com.au; Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and/ or annual fees

So I purchased a Qantas flight with my American Express Travel credit, however, unfortunately, this did not count towards me getting the Club Lounge healthy as it year, through Qantas.com.au  🙁

However you have some options

1. Purchase a flight with points and pay for the taxes on your card and this counts for a purchase 🙂
2. Purchase the cheapest refundable business class flight , currently I see this as single trip from Melbourne to Adelaide for 700$ and then cancel it when they come through

Then :  Within 1-2 weeks of purchasing selected Qantas products and services, two Qantas Club Lounge Invitations will be assigned to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
