Digital Nomading in Palawan

Due to the recent Covid 19 Scare , I could have possibly been stuck in Coron ( in Palwan Philipines ) for 1 month using it as my new office!

One of the most needed resources for a Digital Nomad abroad for work is internet! You can pick up a Globe Sim at the airport ( 10GB Data and another 10GB of Social Media Data ) for 1000PHP for 1 month. You can download the SMART App and top this up in 3GB increments for 180PHP at a time. Speeds on this varyed and it wasn’t good enough for stable VOIP calls sometimes

There are no co-working spaces here, however, this island does offer the “Globe FIBER internet” service which boasts 100MB of Speed. Most backpackers places will offer 4G service which is 1-4MB.

• Pearl Vista De Coron Resort Hotel – with 85MB
• Buzz Express offers good internet for its guest but they ask you purchase a drink ( Coffee is around 210PHP )
